چکیده
Abstract Introduction According to the World Health Organization (WHO) classification, invasive breast carcinoma (IBC) of no special type (IBC-NST) is second most common primary site central nervous system metastases, affecting 15% 30% patients. Brain metastasis originating from IBC associated with patient age, tumor size, and axillary lymph node status. Loss expression hormone receptors c-erbB-2 amplification are frequent findings in patients who develop brain metastasis. Radiological studies carried out only presenting neurological signs or symptoms during clinical follow-up. Objective To evaluate associations pathological cancer. Materials Methods The sample comprised 73 cancer underwent mastectomy resection. following variables were evaluated: histological grade, nodal state, estrogen progesterone c-erbB-2, presence Results histopathological size (p = 0.03), 0.045), 0.012). Conclusion assessment specific can help identify risk factors and/or parameters development

c-erbB-2 expression in different histological types of invasive breast carcinoma.
Sections of 149 breast carcinomas were examined for the over-expression of c-erbB-2 oncoprotein using the avidin-biotin immunoperoxidase technique and two different specific antibodies. These included the polyclonal antibody 21N and the monoclonal antibody 4D5. The tumours were divided into two main groups. The first included 75 cases of invasive ductal and classic invasive lobular carcinomas. ...
متن کاملFlowcytometric Analysis of Tumor Associated Macrophages in Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of Breast
Background: Invasive ductal carcinoma is the most common type of breast cancer in Iran. Impaired immune responses occur frequently in cancer patients, but the mechanisms of the induced immune defects remain poorly understood. It is believed that infiltrated immune cells, especially macrophages, may provide help for tumor cell growth and metastasis. Objective: To analyze the status of tumor as...
متن کاملMaspin and c-erbB-2 expression in correlation with microvessel density in invasive ductal breast cancer.
Maspin is a unique member of the serpin family involved in regulation of cell migration, apoptosis and angiogenesis in breast and prostate cancers. In this study maspin expression in comparison with c-erbB-2 (HER2/neu) oncogene expression and microvessel density was investigated. The examined material included specimens of primary invasive ductal breast cancer derived from 69 patients. They wer...
متن کاملABCG2 is associated with HER-2 Expression, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage in breast invasive ductal carcinoma
BACKGROUND ABCG2 is an ABC transporter. It has been demonstrated that endogenous ABCG2 expression in certain cancers is a possible reflection of the differentiated phenotype of the cell of origin and likely contributes to intrinsic drug resistance. But little is known about the contribution of ABCG2 to the drug resistance and the clinicopathological characteristics in breast cancer. In the pres...
متن کاملMaspin Gene Expression in Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of Breast
Background: The breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer among women, on the other hand absence of myoepithelial cells play a pivotal role in pathogenesis of this cancer. Thus we aimed to investigate the possible abilities of the molecular assay technique to find a relationship between mammary serine protease inhibitor (Maspin) gene expression possibly secreted by my...
